Lichfield Festival returns to the city in July and The Cathedral Hotel is proud to sponsor this annual event!

Now in its 38th year, Lichfield Festival runs from Friday 5th July until Saturday 13th July. The event features over 100 events throughout the week and attracts over 50,000 visitors to Lichfield. There are many free events including the popular Festival Market on Saturday 6th July. It features over 130 stalls from local crafters and food producers. There are also dance, arts, music, comedy, theatre and community events to attend

The Cathedral Hotel is proud to sponsor Lichfield Festival’s Michael Petrov event. Award-winning cellist Michael Petrov has impressed audiences and critics and has performed at major concert halls across Europe, the US and China. Michael will be performing Bach by candlelight at Lichfield Cathedral on Sunday 7th July at 9.30pm to 10.30pm and we know this will be a very special event.

Lichfield Festival Highlights

UK singer-songwriter KT Tunstall will be performing in the stunning surroundings of Lichfield Cathedral on Friday 5th July to kick off Lichfield Festival with a bang! The festival also has a bespoke production celebrating the life and work of Ivor Novello hosted by Russell Grant on Saturday 6th July. Other highlights include a production of HMS Pinafore, Romeo & Juliet by Ballet Cymru, a talk by Emma Bridgewater, Voces 8, Kabantu, Kaktsitsi,  and Albion String Quartet.
