Due to Government guidelines The Cathedral Hotel will close on the 5th November, our sister hotel, The George Hotel will reopen on Thursday 3rd December.

Our 36 rooms are all comfortably furnished in a range of styles so you will feel right at home and enjoy a good night’s sleep.
We offer a selection of room types, from standard doubles and twins to spacious family rooms and we also offer a large four poster room that is ideal for special occasions. Please note that we do not have any ground floor bedrooms and we do not have a lift to the first and second floors.

Dining
Although we do not serve lunch or evening meals, we offer our guests a 25% discount off food at Darwin’s restaurant at our sister hotel, The George, on Bird Street which is only a five minute walk away and open every evening. Go early and you can try one of over 30 speciality gins in The George’s Lounge Bar too!
