The staff were outstanding. Friendly, hard working and really helpful. Lovely room with complimentary tea and coffee. Short walk to the Cathedral and the city centre. Lovely breakfast. No restaurant but pizzas and panini's in the bar. Would definitely book again.

On the hottest day of the year, we had a fantastic overnight stay at The Cathedral Hotel where all the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Breakfast the following morning was gorgeous and, once again, served with a warm smile and excellent customer service.

On arrival we felt very welcomed. Room was just right for us, spacious, clean and an extremely comfortable bed.
Bar sold quality beverages and breakfast this morning was extremely tasty too.
All the staff I found extremely friendly, attentive and we both really enjoyed our stay, if we are ever staying in Lichfield again you will be our first port of call.

This hotel is an absolute gem! If you're looking for somewhere where the welcome and the warmth of the staff are as important as the facilities, look no further. Great value for money and as good a breakfast as you'll find in any hotel. It doesn't do a dinner service but there are a host of great places to eat in Lichfield, just a few minutes walk away.

Have just returned home after my mum's wake held at the Cathedral Hotel. They were excellent. The staff couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. The buffet was never ending and they bent over backwards to accommodate out dietary needs. The room was the perfect size for the 45 attendees. The bar was good. Limitless tea and coffee. My gratitude to the chef and his team, the barman, the front of house team. Would have given 6 stars but only 5 available.

When they say dog friendly they really mean it! Never have the four of us (two human, two canine) felt more welcome at a hotel. From treats in the room to a special breakfast in the bar, it was so lovely to feel the dogs were valued guests and not an inconvenience to be tolerated. And it was really comfortable for the human guests too, with a great location to boot! Highly recommended.

The Cathedral Hotel is a lovely family owned hotel. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile to ensure any needs are met.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, a bar is available onsite.
The breakfast is plentiful and well worth having.
Parking is included if you book through the hotel website.
The hotel is an easy walk away from the city centre, the Cathedral and Beacon Park.

We had a lovely room with a very large bed and a quirky window. Although it was on the front of the hotel it was quiet. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was a good variety of food for breakfast which was self service. The hotel is ideally placed for walking into Lichfield and for visiting the Cathedral.

Had a lovely third trip at the Cathedral hotel in Lichfield. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Clean, great breakfast and staff lovely. Nothing is too much trouble.

What a little gem in the middle of a beautiful city. The staff were all so friendly and made us really welcome.
Lovely spacious clean ensuite room, comfy bed and great facilities.
We had a delicious supper in The George, a sister hotel 5 minutes walk away and received a 20% discount.
Breakfast back in the Cathedral Hotel the following morning was second to none and served by a very lovely cheerful member of staff.
Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is fantastic value for money in a great location. We stayed for the weekend to attend Lichfield Festival at Beacon park, which the hotel is perfectly located for. The hotel staff were fully booked and worked their socks off. Check in was easy at the end of the evening and breakfast was superb.
A great team who made our stay really comfortable land will definitely return.

We had an excellent stay: our room was comfortable and very clean, the members of staff were very friendly and professional, and our breakfast was delicious. There was a huge range of food to choose from. We would certainly stay again if back in Lichfield.
